An Independent Press.
Built for Every Story.

We exist because some stories are too important to wait for a big publisher to decide they're worth telling.

Why We Exist

Eshom Cabin Press was established in 2026 with one straightforward belief: if a story needs to exist, it deserves a real publisher behind it — regardless of who wrote it, what genre it is, or how many times it's been turned down.

The traditional publishing world has gatekeepers at every door. Agents, acquisition editors, sales committees, marketing departments — each one a chance for a worthy book to be quietly set aside because it doesn't fit a comfortable category or reach a comfortable audience. We were built to be different.

We are a small press. That means every author we work with gets actual attention, not a form letter. It means every book we publish matters to us personally. It means we are not chasing trends or building a brand — we are telling stories.

The name comes from a simple image: a cabin in the woods where the fire is going, where difficult things can be said clearly, where someone is working something out and the smoke rising from the chimney is the proof they're still at it. That's what this press is.

Every Genre.
Every Voice.

We are not a specialty press. We don't publish only one kind of book. We publish the books that need to be published — across all genres, for readers of all kinds.

Memoir & Personal Narrative

Real stories from real lives. The hard ones, the necessary ones, the ones the world doesn't want to look at but needs to.

Nonfiction & Hard Truth

Investigative, social, political, personal — nonfiction that documents what matters and refuses to look away.

Children's & Picture Books

Books for young readers that take them seriously. Stories that are joyful, honest, and genuinely crafted.

Fiction & Literary Works

Novels, short fiction, poetry — literary and genre work from voices that have something necessary to say.

What We Stand For

Truth first. We don't ask authors to soften what they wrote or make it more palatable for a broader audience. If you wrote it honestly, we publish it honestly.

Author rights and royalties. You retain the copyright to your work. We publish under a royalty agreement — you earn on every copy sold. We handle the production, distribution, and logistics. You keep your book, your rights, and your voice. Publication agreements are negotiated directly and in writing before anything goes to print.

Built for smaller authors. No agent required. No publishing resumé required. No existing platform required. We evaluate the work. That's all we need.

Quality that respects the work. Small press does not mean low standards. Every book we publish is edited, designed, and produced with the care the story deserves.

Where We Come From

Eshom Cabin Press is proudly based in Oklahoma, USA. We are not a coastal press, not a corporate imprint, not a vanity press. We are an independent publisher built by someone who values plain speech, honest work, and taking care of the people who trust you with something important.

Oklahoma has always been a place of people who get things done without fanfare. That ethos runs through everything we do here — the way we work with authors, the way we handle submissions, the way we package and ship books, and the way we stand behind every title we publish.

Every book that ships from Eshom Cabin Press ships from the USA, sent with tracking, and backed by a press that actually answers its emails.

The Founder.

Bobby Tracy-Blunk, founder of Eshom Cabin Press

Bobby Tracy-Blunk

Founder · Oklahoma, USA

Eshom Cabin Press was founded by Bobby Tracy-Blunk from the belief that some stories deserve to be heard — and that authors deserve a publisher who genuinely listens. The name comes from the Eshom Valley cabin his family had while he was growing up, a place tied to some of his most meaningful memories and the same grounded, straightforward values the press strives to uphold.

Using his background and passion for writing, graphic design, and web design, Bobby built the press to give authors a more personal, creative, and collaborative publishing experience.

At its core, the press is built on a simple principle: authors should work directly with the same person from submission to publication, not be passed from department to department along the way.

Every manuscript is personally reviewed by the founder. Every contract conversation is handled directly. From production and cover design to distribution, marketing, and post-publication support, the relationship remains personal and hands-on throughout the entire process.

No layers between the author and the press. No middlemen between the press and the book.

The voices behind the books.

Every book we publish is a person's story. Meet the authors who trusted us with theirs.
