How long does shipping take?

Physical orders are packed and shipped within 3-5 business days of payment (occasionally up to 7 during high-volume periods). Domestic USA delivery typically takes 7-14 business days via USPS or UPS depending on destination. We email tracking the moment a shipment goes out. See the Shipping page for full details.

Where do you ship to?

We ship to all 50 US states. International shipping is not currently available; if you're outside the US and want a physical copy, please email info@eshomcabinpress.com and we'll see what we can arrange. Digital titles (eBook and audiobook) are available everywhere.

What's your return policy?

Unread physical books in their original condition can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility unless the issue was on our end. Once we receive and inspect the return, your refund posts to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Non-returnable: eBooks and digital downloads (all sales final), sale or discount items unless defective, and books that arrive read, marked, or damaged. See the Returns page for the complete policy.

Are your eBooks and audiobooks DRM-free?

Yes — both formats ship DRM-free. eBooks are EPUB files you can read on any device that supports EPUB (Apple Books, Kobo, Calibre, Google Play Books, dedicated eReaders, and side-loaded onto Kindle via Send-to-Kindle). Audiobooks are MP3 files you can play in any audio app or device. To help prevent fraud and unauthorized sharing, each download is personalized with your name and watermarked at the file level with your order information — embedded in the EPUB's license page and metadata for eBooks, and in the ID3 tags for audiobooks. The watermarks let us trace any redistributed file back to the original purchase, so please don't share copies with others.

How do I redeem a promo or discount code?

Add items to your cart, then enter your promo code in the field that appears in the cart drawer before checkout. The discount applies automatically when the code is valid. New newsletter subscribers receive a welcome discount code by email.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter?

Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we've sent you. You'll see a confirmation page with your email shown — click the button to confirm and you'll be removed from the list immediately. Changed your mind? Just sign up again at the bottom of any storefront page.

Are you on Amazon or Barnes & Noble?

Yes — our titles are available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, and other major retailers as Print-On-Demand through IngramSpark distribution. You can also order direct from us at eshomcabinpress.com, which supports the press most directly, ships from Oklahoma, and includes the personalized eBook copy when the title has one.

Can my store carry your books? Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Yes. Booksellers, libraries, and gift shops can order direct at up to 35% off list price, with no minimum-per-title constraints and a real person on the other end of the email. Our titles are also available through IngramSpark for accounts that order through standard distribution. See the Wholesale page for terms and to get started.

How do I check my order status or track my package?

Visit the Order Status page and enter the email you ordered with, plus either your Order ID or the name on the order. You'll see the order status and any tracking number. Your Order ID is on your confirmation email (online orders look like pi_…). Placed an order over the phone or in person? Use the email and the name on the order.

Who do I contact about an order issue?

For shipping problems, damaged books, missing orders, or any order-related question, email info@eshomcabinpress.com with your order details. We typically respond within 1-2 business days. You can also check the current status anytime on the Order Status page.

What kinds of manuscripts do you publish?

We focus on memoir, nonfiction, fiction, and children's books from voices that deserve to be heard but haven't found the right home. We're looking for work that's honest, specific, and hard to look away from. See our Submissions page for the current call.

Do you accept unsolicited submissions?

Yes — we read every submission that comes through our Submissions page. Please use the form rather than emailing manuscripts directly so we can track and respond properly.

How long does manuscript review take?

We aim to respond to every submission within 6-12 weeks. If you haven't heard from us by 12 weeks, please feel free to follow up via info@eshomcabinpress.com.

What's your royalty rate?

Industry standards for indie press royalties run roughly 10-15% on print and 25-50% on digital, depending on format and distribution channel. We aim to be competitive with those benchmarks, but the actual rate is negotiated per book at contract — there is no one-size figure. Specific terms are discussed in writing once we accept a manuscript.

Do you accept simultaneous submissions?

Yes — we accept simultaneous submissions. Please let us know promptly if your manuscript is accepted elsewhere so we can update our queue.

Do you offer editorial feedback on rejected manuscripts?

Due to the volume of submissions we receive, we cannot offer detailed feedback on every manuscript we decline. We respond to every submission with a clear yes or no.

Do you publish authors from outside the US?

Yes — we consider submissions from anywhere as long as the manuscript is in English. Distribution and royalty payment logistics vary by country and are discussed at contract.

How do I check the status of my submission?

We notify every submitter directly via the email address on file. If it's been longer than our typical review window (12 weeks) and you haven't heard back, please email info@eshomcabinpress.com with your submission details and we'll check on it.
