It’s so refreshing to read a children’s book that focuses on imagination and creativity. The illustrations are vibrant and bring the story to life. I highly recommend this book and look forward to seeing what happens in ToyTown as Mayor Mikey continues to create his perfect lil town.

About the author
Brett Holloway

Brett Holloway lives with his spouse and three sons.
The youngest came home from school one day with an idea: a magical island where toys come alive and a boy named Mikey is Mayor. Brett began spinning the stories at bedtime, one chapter at a time. Those bedtime stories grew into the ToyTown Island series.
Brett's debut book was What the House Holds: A Memoir of Loving a Child You Cannot Save (Eshom Cabin Press, 2026).
